Tallinn University of Technology is visible in Estonia and internationally. We encourage the academic university community to interact with the general public, to be able to explain our scientific accomplishments to the public at large as well as raise interest in research and engineering education.
The goal is to launch new content collaboration formats with major Estonian media agencies in order to ensure a permanent and visible space in media for TalTech’s news and messages. Possible formats: a podcast of the Great Media House (e.g. current collaboration with Delfi on study programmes). E.g. permanent collaboration with the research news portal ERR Novaator and newspaper Õpetajate leht. E.g. “Reaching out to close neighbours – students’ web radio with local authorities and residents. E.g. TalTech’s fact check.
Permanent content collaboration formats allow the university to plan media coverage. Good and substantive formats help build partnerships with major media agencies. Permanent and regular visibility in major media channels will increase the visibility and credibility of the university brand. In addition to increasing media coverage, a recurring column with interesting content helps increase the number of content readers and traffic to the university’s e-channels.
